What we stock
Five lines of stock, in one building, for the animals and the ground on a small Douglas County place.
Farm animal feed
Bagged feed for the stock you keep. Name brand feed sits on the floor with everything else, so ask for the brand you run.
Pet food
Pet food by the bag, on the same trip as the livestock feed.
Animal bedding
Bedding for stalls, pens and coops. Call for what is in the building and how it comes.
Crop and lawn seed
Seed for the field and seed for the yard.
Fertilizer, bagged or bulk
By the bag off the shelf, or in bulk out of the plant. Dry fertilizer goes out on our own trucks.
Stock moves. If you are driving in for something particular, call (785) 594-3351 first and we will tell you what is in the building before you hitch the trailer.
The mill on High Street
1600 High Street is a working mill, not a warehouse with a counter in it. The building is wood framed and sided in corrugated steel, in the western elevator style, and it is where everything on this list is stacked and loaded. If you need a blend mixed to your own formula, ask what the mill can do.
We run our own trucks
Baldwin Feed hauls its own dry fertilizer. A bulk order does not sit waiting on somebody else's truck.
Ask about hauling when you place the order, and we will tell you what the schedule looks like that week.
